Children’s Ministry (Sojourn Kids)
At the Midtown Campus, we care a great deal about transforming the next generation into a community of fully mature Christians who do not forget God’s works but keep His commandments (Psalm 78:5-7; Colossians 1:28-29).
We want to …
- CREATE an attractional environment for building relationships with the unchurched, overchurched, and churched.
- CONNECT children and families with Christ through his church community.
- GROW children and families—sharing both the gospel and our lives with them.
- GROW parents as influential voices and points of influence in the lives of children and students.
Ministry Age Groups:
At the Midtown Campus, we provide childcare during our 9am, 11:15am, and 5pm services.

First-time Visitors
If you are new to Midtown Campus, you should plan on arriving 15-20 minutes before the start of a service. Please park in PARKING LOT A. You can enter through the Main Gallery Doors. Our Nursery and Walkers rooms are located just past the Listening Room on the 1st Floor and the Toddler through Older Elementary rooms are located on the 2nd Floor. Please ask a Connect Volunteer for any assistance.
Upon your first visit, you will need to fill-out a “SojournKids Connect Card.” Once filled out, we will enter your information into our secure database. This information provides us with essential family contact information, emergency contact information, and will allow us to keep you informed on the latest news and events for SojournKids.
Security is High Priority
At Sojourn one of our highest priorities is security. We want to provide a safe and secure place for your children to learn and grow.
All our servants must complete a thorough process in order to be approved for serving in our Children’s Ministry. Not only do they complete a detailed application but each must also pass a standard background test.
You will easily notice our Children’s Ministry servants – identifiable with BLUE t-shirts.
Finally, all children and their parents are issued a nametag with a unique identification code when checking-in. The parent must provide a tag with a matching identification number in order to pick-up their child.
