Vision for your position:
Globally for Sojourn, I envision gospel transformation one person, one family at a time. Specifically …
- For each member, I have a two-fold vision: (1) to grow in Christ-likeness and (2) to grow in mutual ministry — encouraging others and being encouraged by others in Christ.
- For the church as a whole, I envision a flourishing Titus 2 ministry, where those who are further in their journey with Christ are training those younger in their life experiences so that the body of Christ is built up in love.
- For the city, I envision Sojourners offering hope and relief to the real hurts and needs of those in our urban neighborhoods so that the kingdom of God is advanced.
- For our churches across the city, I pray the Lord will spread a vision for and commitment to biblical counseling and gain confidence that the God of the gospel can and will bring about change in the midst of real life.
