Responsibilities:
I oversee the Connect Ministry, which includes Sunday hospitality, follow-up ministry, baptisms, and membership classes.
Family:
I married a true BAWOG (beautiful awesome woman of God) – Hanell on May 26, 2007. She is my better half and we love being married. We have a precious daughter, Annelie, who was born March 3, 2009. Her parents live in Louisville, mine in Chicago.
Hometown:
I grew up in Elmhurst, IL, a suburb of Chicago about 20 min. west of the loop.
Education & Experience:
I went to college at Northwestern University where I studied math and economics. I was very involved with my home church as well as Campus Crusade for Christ. After graduating, Hanell and I served on staff with Crusade for 2 years before coming down to Louisville for seminary. We ultimately want to do international missions.
Vision for your position:
My desire is to help facilitate the work that God is doing in visitors’ lives by welcoming them, sharing the gospel with them, and helping them plug in to Sojourn. As Sojourn continues to experience exponential growth we could easily see hundreds of people fall through the cracks. My hope is to minimize that phenomena by equipping teams and organizing systems that will help people easily plug into the life of the church.
