Responsibilities:
As Jared’s Pastoral Assistant I do whatever he needs to be done. In addition to that, I recruit, process applications, schedule, and manage all SojournKids volunteers.
Family:
My parents divorced when I was five. My mom, her husband, and my two little step-brothers live in the Mississippi Delta. My dad is a traveler but currently lives in Tucson, AZ.
Hometown:
I grew up in the metropolis known as Cleveland, Mississippi, but have no plans on returning long-term.
Education & Experience:
I earned a BA in Psychology and Math from Delta State University in 2007. I’m currently pursuing an M. Div. from SBTS. Before coming to Sojourn I served with several churches as a preacher/youth director. I also preach for Centrifuge during the summers.
Vision for your position:
To see the gospel change the lives of our children and parents at Sojourn. To equip servants to joyfully serve to the glory of the Lord.
